Description

SAGA Diagnostics is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to join its Software Engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Salesforce environment to bridge the gap between our customers and our diagnostic process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.

  2. Customize and configure standard and custom Salesforce objects, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.

  3. Integrate Salesforce with external systems, including the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

  4. Develop and implement automated processes in sales, marketing, and customer support.

  5. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, IT, and lab operations teams to gather requirements, identify challenges, and propose solutions.

  6. Design and implement scalable and flexible Salesforce architecture that supports current and future business needs.

  7. Lead Salesforce projects from conception through delivery, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

  8. Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements in data handling and reporting.


Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and integration.
  3. Proven experience as a lead developer or technical lead role within Salesforce projects.
  4. Advanced proficiency in Apex and the Salesforce ecosystem.
  5. Experience in integrating Salesforce with laboratory and commercial diagnostic systems is highly desirable.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.
  7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team of developers.
