What you will do

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be part of the team building important capabilities for our CRM web and mobile solutions. You will grow your Salesforce skill portfolio by learning and implementing new technologies. You will maintain standards and best practices, while sharing your knowledge with colleagues.

  1. Collaborate directly with stakeholders, end-users, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and functional partners – Data, Information Security, Identity Management, Compliance, Legal, and Risk

  2. Work closely with technical experts at the platform and enterprise level to perform pre and post deployment steps

  3. Manage daily support and maintenance of an internal Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement to operations

  4. Communicate with project managers, clients and other developers to support cohesive strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout

  5. Provide system administration support the Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow

  6. Knowledgeable about Salesforce APIs to integrate with external systems and data

  7. Responsible for deploying code/customizations in various environments (QA, UAT, and Production)

  8. Review monthly Audit Trail logs and Login History

  9. Troubleshoot incidents and resolve service requests in a timely matter

Team Participation – Actively engage with technical, product and business teams. Collaborate with appropriate technology partners to implement solutions to complex problems. 

Project Delivery – Execute Agile Scrum practices to deliver high quality, on-time changes to the Salesforce FSC and Marketing Cloud products. Participate in the end-to-end development cycle maintaining compliance to policies, procedures, and standards.

Professional Experience

  1. BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related major

  2. 3+ years of CRM enterprise experience, including administrator experience with Salesforce FSC, Sales Cloud/Marketing Cloud, and integration

  3. Familiar with modern technology and architecture (cloud, virtualization, object stores, etc.)

  4. Knowledge with key areas of technical architecture, including integration technologies, single sign-on, and master data management.

  5. Good command on the version control tools including but not limited to GIT.

  6. Experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines.

  7. A good understanding of OAUTH2, Caching, Outlook integration and other integrations.

  8. Good to have Azure DevOps, databases, data modeling, and SQL

  9. An ability to develop reports, dashboards, and processes to monitor data quality and integrity

  10. Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment

  11. Manage Connected Apps and Digital Certificates (SSO, API, IDM, Commvault)

  12. Experience with Dataloader and Developer Console/SOQL

  13. Familiarity with Salesforce out of the box functionality such as objects, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and sharing model permissions

  14. Any of these Salesforce certifications are preferred

  15. Salesforce Certified Administrator

  16. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator

  17. Salesforce Certified App Builder

California residents — your privacy rights regarding your actual or prospective employment

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 for the New York City, California, Colorado, and Washington market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
