Job Description:
The Salesforce Administrator will be a key player responsible for the design, configuration, and management of SF products in support of effective, scalable, efficient, and holistic campaign to cash processes.
This position reports to the Salesforce Administration Manager and providing support to key global stakeholders in Sales, Service, Shared Services, Marketing & Pricing functions. You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and support of Datasite’s Sales and Revenue Clouds and the related 3rd party technologies and integrations used in the support of Campaign to Cash. You will focus on identifying and recommending solutions that comply with policies, have prudent safeguards/controls, while optimizing the scalability and ease of use across all stakeholder groups.
Duties and Responsibilities

Design and configure solutions that support business process on a scalable, reliable, and repeatable fashion. – ensuring fit with business architecture strategy and technology practices

Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.

Create and maintain output document templates.

Advise on the implementation feasibility of new policies and process concepts.

Operate in a 360-degree fashion - collaborate with other parts of the Datasite Organization to ensure compatibility with upstream and downstream business functions and systems.

Collaborate with other parts of the Datasite Organization to ensure alignment of goals and timelines on developmental activity.

Configure user permissions, record types, page layouts, flows and triggers, etc. in order to achieve the desired outcomes and objectives.

Drive adoption of tools across stakeholders – educating, communicating, training, and supporting

Properly create and maintain system documentation.

Manage data quality and security protocols.

Any other Salesforce project duties as required.
Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills as they’ll work with people at all levels in the organization, from the C-Suite to the front-line employees across the business. (Written and Oral)

Able to problem solve with complex situations while balancing quality and speed of execution.

Patient, with the ability to listen and understand customer problems, needs and issues are a must, as is the confidence to push back on requests which aren’t in the best interests of the platform and organization.

Governance and best practice are key considerations in this role.

A strong change agent with the ability to Influence and motivate to drive to consensus and effective outcomes. The users across the organization might not all be the most system savvy or keen on change, and so these qualities demonstrated by the Salesforce Admin will be helpful to drive user adoption.

Solution focused. The beauty of Salesforce as a CRM tool is that there is no specific way of doing anything. For a single set of requirements, there could several solutions. Some people thrive in this kind of environment, others not so much.

Able to work in a matrix fashion to ensure proper prioritization of work.
Education
-
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or related discipline
Experience
-
7+ years relevant technical administration experience
-
A minimum of 5 years with SF Admin experience
-
Experienced leading one or more SFCPQ, Revenue Cloud (FKA Steelbrick) implementations

Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills.

Strong understanding of campaign to cash business processes

Ability to define data and process workflows and lead cross functional and discipline discussions.

Desired: Certified Salesforce CPQ administrator

Desired: Some quality training – Lean Sigma, CAP training, etc.

Typical office environment which includes extended periods of time sitting or standing, working on a personal computer, typing, using a mouse, using a phone, and participating in video conferences, etc.

Travel approximately 20% within the United States
