SUMMARY

BSE Global is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to advance our Sales Enablement function. This crucial role strives to redefine our internal business tools by implementing a digital UX design approach to provide a world-class technology experience to all BSE employees. Key responsibilities include developing custom process automation and UX enhancements within Salesforce Lightning, crafting solutions using Apex code, managing a standard Salesforce DevOps pipeline, overseeing unit and regression testing, implementing exacting QA protocols, and integrating external technologies and building standard ETL processes for those technologies.

You will also drive ongoing documentation efforts and build robust production support systems featuring early error detection, red flag functionality, consistent end user feedback and pulse checks and self-service capabilities for employees. This strategic role contributes directly to BSE Global's Growth Mindset value by fostering innovative sales strategies and customer engagement, ultimately enhancing the fan experience and helping grow generational fandom in Brooklyn.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop end to end Salesforce solutions using Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components and other Salesforce development tools

  • Collaborate with key partners and product owners to understand business needs and translate them into comprehensive end-to-end Salesforce solutions

  • Use Salesforce Lightning to create innovative improvements to employee digital experience in Salesforce all in service of larger BSE Global business strategy

  • Oversee Salesforce DevOps pipeline, including CI/CD deployment, branch management, peer reviews, version control, and robust documentation

  • Seamlessly integrate external technologies with Salesforce, establishing clean ETL processes to optimize data flow and advance the creation of strong BSE data pipelines

  • Expand BSE Global’s capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud instances with goal of better connectivity for end to end customer journey automations

  • Maintain detailed documentation of development processes, changes, and updates to support ongoing operations and future modifications

  • Provide technical leadership on complex projects and research new technologies to stay updated with the latest solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem

  • Participate in Agile development practices such as user story development, standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospective

  • Help to monitor, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system issues including performing root cause analysis, implementing technical debt mitigation protocols and conducting ongoing data hygiene tasks

  • Collaborate with entire Data, Analytics and Insights team to intimately understand strategy, business requirements and goals of key internal partners and then translate those into effective system solutions

  • Develop Salesforce integrations with external systems to enhance data pipelines for seamless flow, functionality and analysis

  • Manage Salesforce data quality and integrity, including developing strategies for data cleanup and duplicate record management

  • Provide technical support and training to end users to improve efficiency and usage of systems

  • Manage user access controls in Salesforce, including roles, permissions, and two-factor authentication to ensure data security and compliance

  • Lead efforts to ensure up to date cyber-security protocols and alignment of company and league cyber-security standards are met

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce or business systems development

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field

  • Demonstrable experience as a Salesforce Developer with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and API

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs

  • Knowledge of integration patterns and tools

  • Adept with DevOps best practices and release management

  • Comfortable with Agile practices

  • Salesforce Developer Certification(s)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE

$100,000 - $125,000 base salary
