Job Summary/Basic Function:
This position is for a hands-on, technical Salesforce Developer who is familiar with the demands associated with the development of building applications on the Salesforce platform and integrating third party applications, who can stay on top of the latest developments in this field and who can effectively collaborate with other application development teams to deliver cross-platform solutions.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work autonomously and collaboratively to design and implement project deliverables in Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Communities and integrations to/from Salesforce Service Cloud.

Build custom Salesforce.com and Force.com solutions that support important functionality used by internal teams and students at Teachers College.

Build for scale by designing holistically, with a focus on flexibility and maintainability

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support

Conduct demonstration and training presentations

Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are followed to create an effective control environment
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

3+ years of Salesforce Administration and Lightning development experience

2-3 years of hands-on programming experience using Java, C#, Python, HTML, and/or Javascript

2+ years of Force.com, APEX, LWC, Visualforce development experience

Experience supporting Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud and Salesforce Communities

Experience with data migration, integration techniques, and SaaS/PaaS tools

Excellent analytical skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, partners and users.

Proven ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment, resolve problems, offer impacting solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Admin, Advanced Administrator and/or Platform Developer I Certification(s) are a big plus.

Workato experience or willingness to learn no-code/low-code applications.

Experience integrating third-party applications to Salesforce.
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $120,000
