This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. As Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will assist and lead in the ongoing development of our Salesforce deployment. You will also be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.
What will I be doing?
- Being part of the Salesforce CRM team and serving as Salesforce system administrator for the LearnUpon Salesforce environment across all teams - Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Finance, Partnerships, Implementation, Customer Success, Product and the Data Insights team
- Lead in coordinating the evaluation, scope and completion of new requests through internal cases
- Promote and support administrative, development, reporting, integrations, data quality and change management activities for Salesforce
- Create, support and test solutions to drive processes in Salesforce. This includes: Validation Rules, Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Custom Objects, Flows etc.
- Assist in training new Salesforce users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
- Assist in the recruitment process of new team members
- Act as a mentor to new team members of the Salesforce CRM team
- Maintain Salesforce documentation
- Effectively act as the liaison between Salesforce users, vendors and the internal development teams
What skills do I need?

4+ years actively working in a Salesforce.com administrator role

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar; or High School education with 2+ years actively working in a Salesforce.com administrator role

Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

Ability to juggle requests of varying urgency with tasks related to long term projects and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Excellent project management skills and unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must

Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Experience mentoring less experienced Salesforce administrators

Experience training new users on Salesforce.com

Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

Not required but considered a plus
- Technical background and experience with web applications and/or SAAS delivery model
- CPQ or Revenue Cloud experience
- Experience working within a SaaS environment
- Experience in managing data migration projects
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Admin certified - ADM/X 201 and ADM 211/ADX-211E, Developer/App Builder/Architect based certification
- Experience working with APIs and Single Sign-on products
